[ Heart (or Elizabeth or Ariel or Ginger depending on who you ask) lived a simple life here in Luceti. She still lived at the Welcome Center, making due in the beds there at night and then going out her day outside of it thereafter. She didn't eat (unless the social situation called for it) or drink... or really, do much of anything other than sit around, most days. Wait for someone to approach her or approach someone who was already her user. It's true that if she was actively in one of her other modes she had other interests though, so if her "mind" wandered it was possible -- but she was a robot. Associative memory was programmed into her, but not terribly effectively.

But then, nothing she experienced in Luceti Valley was programmed into her either, and trapped without her own head, she had taken to thinking about (or well, more accurately, replaying) those memories a lot and ... not quite pondering, but acknowledging the inherently contradictory emotions she felt during it which were literally impossible for her now.

Which is probably why he day today is a little more varied. For one, the young woman robot walks all the way down the South Lake, here the Aylum used to be based on her memories - by comparing it to the geography leading up to it, she stands right at where the front entrance would have been, silent for a long moment.

And then finally, unless interrupted, walks right back to town. She intends to go back to her watching, but rejects that, instead going into the grocery to look for anything resembling a TV dinner and then staring at it for some time. She never picked them up though unless prompted, and then moves on to the next stop, the Library. Unmoded, she doesn't have even simulated intellectual curiosity enough to pick up a book and read it, so instead she just sets out the memorize the layout of the whole place and get a look at the titles on every spine. Which will take the whole rest of her day until she goes back to the Welcome Center for the night.

Ohh. ... Well. Maybe they just don't have mutants where you're from. [As previously mentioned, Wanda is a terrible liar. It's fairly clear that mutant=best in her book.] ... That's ok. ... You seem like a really nice lady, anyway!

So I could be a mutant and not even know it. [An impish smile spreads on her lips before she rocks a bit more, side to side before she leans forward again]

So, Wanda. Do you want to go back to meditating?

You could be! That's true! [There's a cheery thought.]

I-- could. I mean... I meditate every day. It's... pretty much all I do, really. ... Though I'm getting better about-- meeting new people. [She smiles, shyly.]

Are you sure you don't want something more spontaneous than what you do every day though?

[maximoff_girl]

I like-- new things. Bulla said she'd teach me to fly. And-- Ororo said she'd help me train, though... That'd probably be a lot more meditating.

[She considers.]

I like... the idea of spontaneous. But it-- usually doesn't work out so well, in practice.

Well, what's the worst that could happen?

Worst...? [Ooh, there's a creepy thought.] I don't... really want to think about worst. ... But the average is explosions. ... and lots of chaos. People getting hurt. ... that sort of thing. [Not a pleasant thought at all.]

...Is there something you're not telling me? Maybe a little anarchism?

[maximoff_girl]

... Anarchism? ... Anarchism. ... [That sounds like a word she should know. ] I don't-- I dunno. Just... My powers are unpredictable, and they... can be dangerous. Sometimes.

Oh. I didn't realize you had powers - my bad.

[maximoff_girl]

Oh! Yes, sorry...! I'm a mutant. I-- sort of think everyone knows that about me already, so I forget to mention it sometimes.

Forgive me but-- I'm genuinely not sure I know what "mutant" means.

[maximoff_girl]

Oh, um-- Well, a mutant is just like a human, only we have... special powers. We can have all sorts of powers, really! My brother is faster than you can even see, and-- my father can control magnetism and metal. Some of us heal really well, or-- can teleport. Or cause earthquakes, even! There's... really no end to the variety. ... We're the next stage of human evolution. [She says with no small amount of pride.]

Oh that... that really does sound amazing! I never new that sort of thing was happening to people, but it really makes sense. Being able to have powers like that does seem like an evolution. [She claps her hands together, lightly] I'm honored to meet one, actually.

[maximoff_girl]

[Um. Ok. This woman is officially the coolest human Wanda has ever met.]

Oh, well-- I'm... I'm flattered. Thanks! [She blushes a little, enjoying the attention.] Really, I'm just... just lucky!

I'll say. [And she leans forward some more, enteresting personal space again]

Mm. .... Mmhmm. [Aaaand moving back a little, to reclaim some of that personal space.]

Um. ... Anyway. That's why it's not a good idea to surprise me. ... Once I hexed Kurt right out of a second story window! He wasn't hurt, thankfully, but-- ... yeah.

[She nods! Okay, she understands. No surprises!]

[Silences. Kind of awkward. She smiles, nervously.] Um. ... So. ... What would... you like to do?

If you want to keep meditating, I could try to meditate with you. Or you could show off those powers of yours... or we could go somewhere.

[maximoff_girl]

I'm... ok with any of those. [But mostly? An oppertunity to show of her powers-- to a human no less-- and not be yelled at for it? YES PLEASE.]

Um. ... My powers are hard to explain, but... they sort of look like this some times.

[At which point her hex aura lights up. a bright vibrant blue light wavering around her arms and hands.]

What... is it? [the field? She's curious - because in this mode she does have intellectual curiosity]

I... actually don't really know. We call it 'magic' though. Just... for lack of anything else to call it. ... It actually exists, though. And-- I can do all sorts of things with it. [She smiles, briefly, then frowns.] ...Less, since 'moving' here.

What sort of things can you do with it?

I can... make things explode... or change what colour things are. I can... Change the way things move, or-- make things seem alive. ... Do you know what telekentics are?
