[ Heart (or Elizabeth or Ariel or Ginger depending on who you ask) lived a simple life here in Luceti. She still lived at the Welcome Center, making due in the beds there at night and then going out her day outside of it thereafter. She didn't eat (unless the social situation called for it) or drink... or really, do much of anything other than sit around, most days. Wait for someone to approach her or approach someone who was already her user. It's true that if she was actively in one of her other modes she had other interests though, so if her "mind" wandered it was possible -- but she was a robot. Associative memory was programmed into her, but not terribly effectively.

But then, nothing she experienced in Luceti Valley was programmed into her either, and trapped without her own head, she had taken to thinking about (or well, more accurately, replaying) those memories a lot and ... not quite pondering, but acknowledging the inherently contradictory emotions she felt during it which were literally impossible for her now.

Which is probably why he day today is a little more varied. For one, the young woman robot walks all the way down the South Lake, here the Aylum used to be based on her memories - by comparing it to the geography leading up to it, she stands right at where the front entrance would have been, silent for a long moment.

And then finally, unless interrupted, walks right back to town. She intends to go back to her watching, but rejects that, instead going into the grocery to look for anything resembling a TV dinner and then staring at it for some time. She never picked them up though unless prompted, and then moves on to the next stop, the Library. Unmoded, she doesn't have even simulated intellectual curiosity enough to pick up a book and read it, so instead she just sets out the memorize the layout of the whole place and get a look at the titles on every spine. Which will take the whole rest of her day until she goes back to the Welcome Center for the night.

Just a day in the life. Run into her at any of these moments or along the way to any]

[ Trisha is still sort of absently going in to help out at the grocery store. She might even make some sort of post asking what one should do in order to maybe make that official (with Edward grown and out of the house, and Hohenheim studying, she's occasionally at loose ends), but...

...she recognizes the latest person to come in, as she tidies up. Trisha waves, a smile coming to her face. ]

Elizabeth! I haven't seen you in a while.

How have you been doing? I last saw you - oh, before the Valley, even.

Oh...? Did something happen?

...Oh, yes! I don't think I knew you, back then. Did anything happen to you? I mean - is it still troubling you?

I suppose I rather had it easy. My "family" was mostly made up of...my family.

Oh - you mean you remember...all of it?

Oh, my...I can see how that would make things a little strange. I remember things, but...some of it has faded. I do hope your memories include a lot of good, then.

It's nice to see you again, too!! Have you found a nice place to live, yet?

You are? Do you like it there, or you just haven't wanted to move into an apartment...?

Well, there are empty rooms in the house Hohenheim and I share. ...when your son is grown, it would be a bit much to expect him to live with you.

Actually, he lives with a rather nice girl, these days. So I wouldn't want to intrude in any case.

Of course! We have two extra bedrooms we're not doing anything with, and I think that's a bit of a waste, honestly.

I really don't think Hohenheim would mind. [ ...If he...noticed, which was always the thing, but she would discuss it with him, of course. ] I can let you know later tonight at the latest, but I don't see it being a problem.

[ spoiler alert: he's cool with it. ]

Like I said, I don't think he'll mind! Hohenheim is very easy going, really.

[ among other things ]

And it would be nice to have more of a full house again.
