[Action]

[Heart's awakening in Luceti happened sometime around noon today. She woke up behind on of the buildings near the square, and upon awakening the relatively tall robot girl found herself rather... perplexed. For one, she distinctly recalled being told they were going to deactivate her and she clearly was not deactivated if she felt responsive now. For two, there was something off with her outer frame; it had been changed. Two extra appendages on her back...

Hmm.

Either way, the change in her clothing or setting didn't alarm her that much. While this certainly was not the Mansion, nor the facility where he earliest tests have been done, she was used to being awoken after a shut down in strange places by now. This white sundress was even a little cute. Thus, with a slight smile on her face, she began her observation of the square, curious about it.

When she noticed that everyone else here also had these strange appendages on their backs - wings - she was confused at first, but then eventually concluded the simplest answer: humanity must have changed since she was last shut down. Thus, as she sat down on a bench in the square, she began to go through the motions - though she had no control over it, it was merely her systems compensating for this new observation as well as her own physical changes - to rewrite her internal definition of human to include the wings.

Give her a good half hour to do that and she's back on her feet! This girl would have been completely unresponsive during that half hour, so maybe you saw her then. Maybe you saw her now! Point is, she's snooping around the square but not talking to anyone while in a new feather outfit. Plus, well, she can't talk to anyone until spoken too. Please do feel free to run into her.]

[Besides the school and his personal training there's not much to do for Keiichi at Luceti. Specially on Sundays, so he's just walking around, half of him keeping an eye around in case he sees a familiar face, don't New Feathers start to appear at the start of the month?

The redhaired girl is not a familiar face but... Seriously, a pretty girl in the obvious New Feathers' sundress -and Keiichi knows that one quite well-, on her own around the place? This is not the type of guy who wouldn't at least try to offer help.]

Oi, are you okay?

[ooc: if there's any problem I'll change it or delete it.]

[Oh, it's someone talking to her! Okay, turn and stare. Scanning... human, but his age is questionably within the limits.
This prompts a knee-jerk response of a questioning:] What is your age? [The tone is still pretty flat though]

I'm seventeen...

[Asking his age isn't a very normal reaction to "are you okay". Does she think he can't help because he's young?]

If this is because I'm too young to help don't mind that, I've been here long enough to be able to help. And anyway you don't look that much older than me, so we are in the same boat.

[...Confirmed! Well then, here comes the next question on our spree of completely left field questions-] Do you want to be loved?

[Pause. No, he can't think of a way to explain the reasons behind that question. Definitively not the kind of question to ask someone who one has just met- oh wait, maybe in her world it is normal to ask that? Well, better go with the flow for now.]

Yes, of course I do.

[And considering that maybe this is how she actually greets people, strange way but still he's no one to judge, here's Keiichi trying to talk her out of the spree of questions.]

And you?

[...Score. Her tone is still flat but it also conveys a vague sense of anticipation as she continues with:] Pick my personality; one, two, three, four, five, or six?

[Apparently they weren't done with just two questions, there's a third one. And it's still scaling the meter of weird questions.]

Four... Is this alright?

[He doesn't like how the "pick my personality" thing sounds. She should have whatever personality she wants, right? But to deny it outright may be bad for her, she's still new and confused, probably. For the moment Keiichi will just hope that they are done with the out-of-nowhere questions.]

[PROCESSING...

And then she smiles a bit broadly as soon as she finishes, resulting in her posture changing] More than alright, tiger. Might even go so far as to call it perfect if that's okay with you. [A beat-] I'm Heart, but you can call me anything you like. And what's you name, stranger?

[Keiichi blinks, well that's quite a change in her voice. But it seems the questions have ended and she seems more relaxed, so he won't pay it much mind.]

Heart is a perfectly fine name, quite pretty, so I'll stick with that. I'm Keiichi, you're new here, right?

Seems to be the case... I mean I don't recognize anything around here and I get the feeling that even if I did something would be off if I didn't recognize certain someones around here. [She winks briefly before leaning back on the balls of her feet] What gave me away?

[He chuckles at that.]

The sundress mostly. They give a dress like that to all the new girls.

[And to him but that was probably just an exception.]

And since you don't seem to know where you are, I guess it will be my job to help you with that. Do you want to short explanation or the long detailed one?

Let's go with the short and then I'll decide if I want to go for the long-haul. [She shrugs a little, but then arches one eyebrow] After all, I already know that fashion's important for identification apparently.

Well, fashion's not really that important, but all the new people tend to appear dressed in the same way. Some manage to find their clothes nearby where they wake up thought, so the identification only works to a limited extend.

[He smiles before he gets serious.]

The short explanation... You're not in your world anymore, there's nothing in this place that should be familiar to you, though maybe you'll be able to meet people that you know. We all are trapped here by an organization called Malnosso and from time to time we are used in different experiments, sometimes collectively and others individually.

Time moves at a different pace here, no one will notice your absence as time seems to have stopped back at your world. Also it's possible that the people you might find from your world will be from a different time than you, meaning that they may not know you because they were brought here before they met you.

[...whoa] If that's the short version, then I'm going to just pity whoever has to hear the long one first.

[She shrugs and then dramatically sighs. It's a little unclear if she's not taking this seriously at all or if she's just rolling with it. Either way she pulls at her dress a bit...] So I'm in the default dress, then? At least these Malnosso characters have some taste, better than being naked, I guess.

Well, that's because it's the short but complete one. [He scratches his head.] the short one would be "You're stuck here until God knows when, and you get to be experimented on from time to time". Something like that, I suppose.

[Jokes aside he looks at the dress, obviously not agreeing with Heart's opinion on the dress not being bad. Then again he probably is biased.]

I can help you get new clothes to change that one if you want, or to see if you can find what you were wearing before. It may appear at the stores later.

See, that's much more to the point. Plus that looks suits your face a whole lot better than that serious one did, whatever you might think. [That's complete with a little poke of one of his cheeks and a giggle. Before she goes in for the kill-]

Oh, you're going to dress me up? So forward.

It does? I'll keep that in mind then.

[He smiles, though really, it's not a matter to not take seriously in his opinion. The smile grows as she teases him, this is his favorite way of communicating.]

What can I say? I would have to be crazy and blind for wanting to miss such a chance to dress up a pretty girl like you.

[Hey man, dismissing things is the best way to handle serious things! Well, not really, but things like that don't interest her nearly as much as human relations do. As such, she laughs again before bowing herself just a little bit-]

In that case, I'll trust your judgment for now. Lead on.

[Not exactly the answer he expected, the normal reaction would be to feign being offended or something like that. But then again Shion was the kind of girl who would go on with the teasing naturally, just like Heart's doing so Keiichi doesn't make a big deal of it.]

Gotcha! There's no currency here so don't worry about the money for clothes or anything else.

[Leading the way to the clothing store.]

Housing is free too, you can stay either at the Welcome Center for a while or find an unoccupied place and claim it.

[Following ~~like a puppy~~ no actually she's pretty much in stride with him. But hearing that, her eyes go a little bit wider before she clenches a fist in the air and pulls it down as if to say "OH YEAH!!" but instead she says-] Score. Free stuff, nice people, considerate boys? If it weren't for the evil scientists and the underlying motivations of said boys I might call this place a paradise.

[See, now the teasing comes in. But she pauses before commenting on housing-] And a Welcome Center with free housing? Be still my beating heart. [Ignoring that she doesn't have one.]

Underlying motivations? Ouch, that hurt. [Sad Keiichi is sad, his kindness is being questioned!] And here I thought that all my motivations were clear and obvious. Maybe I should announce them louder?

[He smiles at her. It's good to see someone with such an upbeat mood despite the situation they are in, it helps him to relax a bit. Which is good seeing that Rika isn't in Luceti and stress is a bad thing for Keiichi and Rena.]

I see you're quite optimistic about this place, that's good. I know some people find it even helpful as they don't usually get free time to sit and relax in their worlds, so even if forced they take this as a vacation.

Well~ I'm just not sure I see the point in getting too depressed or serious about it before I'm even in an outfit better than something like this. Cute as it is, I'm not sure it's quite what a gal should be panicking in. [She shrugs and then waves a little in his direction]

Plus, wouldn't you say it's a little premature to be pessimistic? I'm a "new feather" [Yes, she picked that up from her tiny skim of the guide] and I've got a nice, strong guy beside that helping me out here.

As for that announcement... go for it. [Complete with a wink and a mock finger-gun shot thing]

I don't think there's a set of clothes in which a girl should be panicking in, girls shouldn't have to panic anyway. [Which means that they should have perfect and peaceful lives without anyone hurting them or using them ever.

He laughs at her next words thought.]

I see, so this nice, strong guy will protect you. No wonder you aren't worried, maybe the one to worry should be me. Specially if I announce my motivations, I don't want that guy to come and beat me to protect you.

Maybe I should just give up on my motivations and just be nice and kind. [Cue sparkling innocent eyes.] Your strong guy wouldn't hit something as innocent as this face, right?

Hmm. [This is an appraising look at Keiichi. Stern, maybe? Something like that. Then she pauses before-] Maybe I should give you a test if that's the case. Sure you could even handle a punch if it came to that? I'd worry if you couldn't.

Oh? You want to test me?

[Keiichi laughs, she doesn't look that strong so surely he could handle one from her.]
