[Action]

[Heart's awakening in Luceti happened sometime around noon today. She woke up behind on of the buildings near the square, and upon awakening the relatively tall robot girl found herself rather... perplexed. For one, she distinctly recalled being told they were going to deactivate her and she clearly was not deactivated if she felt responsive now. For two, there was something off with her outer frame; it had been changed. Two extra appendages on her back...

Hmm.

Either way, the change in her clothing or setting didn't alarm her that much. While this certainly was not the Mansion, nor the facility where he earliest tests have been done, she was used to being awoken after a shut down in strange places by now. This white sundress was even a little cute. Thus, with a slight smile on her face, she began her observation of the square, curious about it.

When she noticed that everyone else here also had these strange appendages on their backs - wings - she was confused at first, but then eventually concluded the simplest answer: humanity must have changed since she was last shut down. Thus, as she sat down on a bench in the square, she began to go through the motions - though she had no control over it, it was merely her systems compensating for this new observation as well as her own physical changes - to rewrite her internal definition of human to include the wings.

Give her a good half hour to do that and she's back on her feet! This girl would have been completely unresponsive during that half hour, so maybe you saw her then. Maybe you saw her now! Point is, she's snooping around the square but not talking to anyone while in a new feather outfit. Plus, well, she can't talk to anyone until spoken too. Please do feel free to run into her.]

[Also if you didn't read it yet, reading this my aid to you understanding of interacting with her.]

I'll stick with Heart, thanks. [Buffy peers at the New Feather, wondering if she's arrived with a bump on her head.] I'm Buffy Summers. Look, maybe you should have a seat or something. I'm pretty sure delving into a stranger's love-life, then getting all math happy? Not normal things.

Oh, didn't mean to offend you, Buff. [Yes, a nick-name, that fast] But I hear you, it's probably a little strange.... Tell you what, why don't we take a seat somewhere where you'll enjoy yourself too. Coffee? Tea?

[B-Buff? But that's the name reserved for scoobies and for Jim--]

[She swallows hard, pushes past the social shock, and begins to nod.] Coffee never goes down wrong. But are you sure you don't wanna go find something a little warmer, first?

I feel fine right now, it's not that cold out... [She considers for a half-second before:] Plus I don't have a dime on me, otherwise I wouldn't say no to be a bit of shopping.

Oh, see? There's a small but important bonus to being kidnapped into Wingsville. There's no money, here. It's all free.

Kidnapped? [She considers... well, that seems to match up with something she's got in her head. Either way she shakes her head] Well, at least it's got a cute name. Plus free stuff? Always a perk.

Y-yeah. Wingsville? That's just the name I made up, kinda right now. More accurately, this place's called Luceti. It's just hard not to focus on the obvious--[at which point, she jabs a thumb towards her own dark red wings.]

Luceti, huh? [She looks around a little and then at Buffy's wings. She vaguely wonders what color her own art because she hasn't really bothered to look, just felt them. But either way, she shrugs before-] I don't know, you might be on to something with Wingsville. Maybe Feathertown.

[She smiles, indulgently. There might be an odd lack of mortal panic, but at least the girl wasn't spouting quite so much nonsense anymore.]

Or Wingdonia. I did consider that one for a few days. A little more fitting before this place got its very own batch of electricity. Then Wingdonia felt to...ye olde.

Wingdonia doesn't seem to fit a place with streetlights, yeah. [She thinks for a bit more and then snaps her fingers-] Oh, got it! Wingsdale. This looks like one of those cute little towns you hear about on TV for the human interest part of hte news.

Oh, great. This is me--[she turns, now. time to go hunt you down something a little more decent]--totally sick of dale places. Last small little town I get all homey in? Sunnydale.

What, you're not cool with your hometown? [She keeps in stride though, or at least, is willing to follow her and such] Might be a little redundant for you then, I guess. "Luceti" just feels so foreboding though, you know?

[Buffy's soft-spot for Shiki's store shows through as she chooses it for the quick shop-a-thon before coffee.] Oh, you know. Coolish. It was only slightly more funtastic than this place. At least it had a club. [Definitely had, considering how Sunnydale was only a crater these days.]

But, yeah. Probably because it is foreboding. Complete with its own set of evil scientists.

Evil scientists, wings, and free clothes? This place has everything, doesn't it? Next thing you know you'll be telling me there's wizards or something. [She laughs just a little at that, but somehow she doesn't think it's unexpected]

There's...magic, if that's what you mean. Oodles of it. Good stuff, bad stuff, regular garden variety addictive stuff.

[Buffy's a good person and attempts to hold the door to the shop open for the rookie.]

Can't say I've ever heard of being addicted to tricks, whatever that weird rabbit likes to say to everyone. [And that said, time to waltz right in with a smile and-] Thanks though. [And a beat before-] Wow, this is better than I thought it would be.

[That brings out a smile--after all, it shows a sense of humour that the Slayer can appreciate.] Well, you're in luck. Maybe you'll get to ask him yourself. The animals here? They talk.

[Shiki's spring line is on display. Buffy allows the girl to browse on her own while she picks out a few tops for herself.]

[As for Heart, she aims for a few cuter tops, some skirts, pants... the works of a buddding new wardrobe, you know? After all, all she's got to her name right now is this sundress...] Well, if that's the case? You tell me if you see him and I'll come running. [A light waveat Buffy and a smirk later-] For now I guess I'll content myself with asking birds how they know to fly south.

[Her attention perks up with a smile.] Huh. I've wondered about that, too. I mean...it's not like they've got some kind of mystical GPS thing strapped to their beaks. [She rambles, good-naturedly.]

Hey! That's smokin'. [Buffy abandons the few items she was looking at to point out one of the tops Heart had in her hands.] You should definitely try that on. I bet it'd look fantabulous under...[she turns, reaching for a light spring jacket.] This.

[~~My lack of fashion sense is showing~~ And Heart when having that pointed out considers it. Hmm.. It might look good, yeah, but then she needs to pick an appropriate garb for her lower half, and none of what she has right now seems to match up with with this duet. Even so, she takes the jacket] Smokin', huh? Well, I can't exactly go and deny a request like that.

[She considers a bit more and... okay, there's a decent set of jeans that look about her size, that'll do for now.] Well, excuse me a minute, we can check the results together when I'm done~ I'm a bit eager to get out of this. [Pulling on the edges of the sundress...

Before retreating off to a changing room]

It's totally one of those undeniable requests, right? [Buffy smiles, though there is a little bit of stammering involved with the girl's behaviour. Forwardness was always appreciated, but even Buffy had to quirk a brow at that one.]

If it doesn't work--but I know it will--I'll scope out another option. Just in case.

Might as well be an order! [She laughs at her own joke briefly as she enters a changing room. Give her a minute... good... and then she's out!

Once she's out she waves over to Buffy to get her attention-] Hey Buff, is this up to snuff for you? [And then cue... cliche super-model pose! Which actually sort of works for her, what with being tall with an all-around thin figure. The long red hair helps too. But really she's playing around]

[There is some applause from the Slayer. Oodles of approval.]

See? I said you'd rock it. The first lesson of Luceti is to never question my fashion advice. [She continues with an indulgent smile.]

Yes ma'am~ [Complete with a mock-solute as she waltzes on back over towards Buffy, strutting her stuff and all that. But once she's back there she laughs a little at her own expense]

I don't know if I would have picked one out this nice after all. Glad to know someone's looking out for me. [And that one comes with an appreciative head-cock thing]
