[Today is an overcast day, which is better than the rainy days over Sunday and Monday at least. Heart, who lives outside basically aside from a little corner of the item shop she's claimed as a temp-home, wishes there were more sun, but it's okay as is. What she is doing however, is currently shopping for Adell... Which means she's in mode 3 while searching. Of course, if anyone were to run into her she would change modes, but as it is, she's trying to pick out a birthday gift for him in the item shop and it's not working very well.

She itches her head regularly as if a bit lost.] Sheesha, I don't even know what the guy wants... [And other such quotes like this are common.

She's also tossing items which don't fit the bill on the ground after examining them. So if you want to run into a relatively tall ~~dating robot~~ girl who is ransacking the item shop, do feel free]

See, Kiyo, if you're going to be like that it's all the more reason to give you a bit of thanks~! You're probably helping people out all the time, right? [Complete with a pat on the back there]

Kiyo? [And the pat on the back breaks her out of that thought.] Ah, well, I'm used to it. It's a large part of my job back home, you see. But if you insist, I'm sure I can think of some small favor at some point.

If you want we could just settle for me treating you somewhere, but the lack of money here gets in the way of that a little.

[Wink and after she finishes shelving the last thing-] Well then, tell me, would you prefer a lunch proper or settling for a trip to the cafe. I'm more than able to spot you for either one.

The cafe sounds good enough to me.

Well then... [She shrugs before holding a hand out for the other-] Might as well get going then.

[She'll take that hand so she can get back up to a standing position after the picking-things-up-and-putting-them-back adventure, and then let go, giving a nod.] All right then. [Welp, lead the way, Heart. Kiyone barely knows the layout of this place, after all.]

[Well then, let's make with the leading to the ol' KK. Kat's Kradle, that is. As they go though, Heart can't help but want to talk-] So, Kiyo, how's this place treating you? I'm pretty new here myself, so I'm not sure what to think yet.

Well enough. Aside from a few mishaps I've heard of, it seems peaceful enough to me.

Yeah, it's way more serene than I was expecting after that guide they shove on your face. It's like you expect this place to be some hellhole and then it turns out to just be a pretty okay small town.

Yeah, seriously. I guess it's so no one's surprised when things actually do start going to hell.

Probably. But now I'm a little curious for what'll happen, y'know? After all, if this is do tame, I wonder what the incidents where it's not are like?

I'm not looking forward to finding out, but I guess we don't have much of a choice in the matter ... Hopefully whatever comes up won't be too much of a hassle.

You're a capable person, right? I bet you could handle anything they throw your way if you put your mind to it.

W-well, yes, of course -- I've been trained to handle extreme situations, after all. I'm more worried for anyone who can't handle the sudden changes those experiments may cause.

[She laughs a little at that.] I guess so!

[Aaaaaand cafe! With that, she even opens the door for Kiyone, smiling and all] After you.

[Sweet, cafe. Kiyone gives a small, quick bow of thanks before stepping in.] Thank you. [Looking around now.] So this is the cafe ... Have you been here before, Heart?

Well, I know it from the map, so not yet. 'Fraid this is my first name here. Makes us both virgins for cafes in Luceti, doesn't it?

Yeah, I guess it does. [Oh well, so much for asking for a recommendation. She'll be walking over to an empty table now.] It seems like a nice enough place, at least.

Yeah. Looks right cozy in here, honestly. I could become a frequent customer.

If their menu is good, I might as well. [Speaking of which, she's going to glance at that from the table.]
