[Action]

[Heart's awakening in Luceti happened sometime around noon today. She woke up behind on of the buildings near the square, and upon awakening the relatively tall robot girl found herself rather... perplexed. For one, she distinctly recalled being told they were going to deactivate her and she clearly was not deactivated if she felt responsive now. For two, there was something off with her outer frame; it had been changed. Two extra appendages on her back...

Hmm.

Either way, the change in her clothing or setting didn't alarm her that much. While this certainly was not the Mansion, nor the facility where he earliest tests have been done, she was used to being awoken after a shut down in strange places by now. This white sundress was even a little cute. Thus, with a slight smile on her face, she began her observation of the square, curious about it.

When she noticed that everyone else here also had these strange appendages on their backs - wings - she was confused at first, but then eventually concluded the simplest answer: humanity must have changed since she was last shut down. Thus, as she sat down on a bench in the square, she began to go through the motions - though she had no control over it, it was merely her systems compensating for this new observation as well as her own physical changes - to rewrite her internal definition of human to include the wings.

Give her a good half hour to do that and she's back on her feet! This girl would have been completely unresponsive during that half hour, so maybe you saw her then. Maybe you saw her now! Point is, she's snooping around the square but not talking to anyone while in a new feather outfit. Plus, well, she can't talk to anyone until spoken too. Please do feel free to run into her.]

[Awesome, so he's her ~~seventh~~ user! She puts her hands together but doesn't quite smile yet as see says with a tone still flat but somehow conveying excitement:] Pick my personality; one, two, three, four, five, or six?

[...Well, this was really, really weird. Maybe this was normal for wherever this girl comes from. Well, playing along probably couldn't hurt. It might just be some sort of ice-breaker. Or maybe she's just messing with him. Well, whatever.]

Uh... three?

[That's a good number, right?]

[PROCESSING... Ding! Well okay there's no ding, but her posture changes. She stands up a little straight, puts a smirk on her face, and the punches Adell lightly on the shoulder-] Well hey there, nice to meet'ya! 'M Heart but you can call me whatever you like.

[...The light punch on the shoulder was something of a surprise, but hey, whatever. She's spirited, I guess. Quite a strange change of tone from the flat sounding questions he got a minute ago, but he didn't dwell much on it. After all, she seemed nice enough.]

Heart, huh? Well, good to meet you too! I'm Adell! So, I take it you're new around here?

[She gives Adell a thumbs-up sign at his introduction before considering the next part-] Guess so... I mean I just woke up and then bam, here I am.

[She shrugs at that. She's not really sure what to make of this whole mess]

Heh, yeah, that's how it usually happens. One moment everything's fine, then you're here.

Well, I don't want to alarm you, but... you better find a place to settle in here. Getting home isn't really possible right now. I take it no one's shown you the guide yet?

There's a guide? [She itches the back of her head absently at that... hopefully it's not too much to read] Nope, can't say I saw anything like that.

[Find a place to stay though? Like... where?]

Yeah, there is. Hang on, I'll get it for you.

[He'll pull out his own journal and flip it open to it and pass it over to her.]

It's a long read, but it explains everything. But you should be able to read it on your own journal too later, if you don't want to do it now. Sorry to say, but we're all kinda in it for the long haul here.

Aww sheesh... this is a lot of words. [Still, she does "skim" though it. And by skim I mean she takes one brief glance at however many pages it is each page. She's actually uploading the thing to her memory-bank to look at later, but it gives the impression of her barely looking at it] Isn't there a easier way t'say all this?

[Dryly]

"We're lab rats in a cage trapped by crazy scientist guys, brought from different worlds. We're stuck here, nothing we can do about it, live life as normally as possible until we can get out of here."

...That's the gist of it. There's a lot of other important stuff in there, but that's the simple message.

[...Blink. Blink] That's real negative, y'know. [She shrugs again but then puts on a mildly downcast face before shaking her head-] It's also way too much to think about. Other worlds?

[He smiles somewhat. She's got a good attitude.]

Heh, yeah. I know. But unfortunately that's what's going on. Still, you can always make the best of it. I try to, at least.

Yeah, other worlds. Or rather... dimensions, I guess. People here come from all sorts of different places. You'd be surprised the kinds of people you can meet. Most of them are really nice, too.

Yeah well, yer being pretty considerate right now. [She seems to think about this a bit longer before she sighs and shakes her head] Ahhh, sheesh. I mean I'll make the best of this, of course, but is there anywhere I can get an outfit better than this? Makes me feel naked.

Ah, yeah! The general store will probably have your old clothes. If not, then you can probably pick up some there. And I think there's a tailor in the village who makes custom work, but I've never really been there.

Oh, and don't worry about paying for it. There's no money here. Just take whatever you need!

Just get me some shorts and a T-shirt and I'm set for now. [She shrugs before grinning sheepishly] Mind showing me where the store's at?

Sure, no problem. Come on!

[He'll motion for her to walk with him. And he'll start leading the way to the store.]

Hah! Alright! [And she will follow in two, beaming and excited and all that]

[It's a fairly short walk, but Adell takes it at a fairly brisk pace, making sure Heart keeps pace. Once they reach the store, he'll signal to it.]

Here it is. This is the place. Got pretty much everything here!

[With that, he'll open the door for her. Guy still knows his manners.]

[And she meanwhile jogs her way in, clearly excited to be getting out of this sundress. She doesn't really look long and hard at any of the clothes for her own or styling or whatever, she just finds a T-shirt and some shorts that look like they're going to fit her and then makes her way to the back for the changing rooms. Give her all of... a minute or two, tops]

[And he'll wait, but he'll be pleasantly surprised at how fast that was. When she emerges, he'll speak back up.]

Feeling better now?

[She skips a little, and then does two hops in place before smirking back there, giving him a thumbs up-] Damned straight.

Like, a running track? Not that I'm aware of. There's just an open field down by the barracks I use for training...

Well if I'm gonna need to be thinking as much as you're saying then I'm sure gonna need something like that to clear my thoughts, right? [She says this with and offhand smirk; it should be almost self-evident.]
